1. Why we have a Fair Usage Policy
Fibre capacity in each neighbourhood is shared between the homes connected to it. A very small number of connections running downloads around the clock can affect everyone else. The policy keeps speeds consistent for all customers while still allowing far more usage than a normal household needs.
2. How the allowance works
The allowance counts all data uploaded and downloaded on your connection in one billing month. When it is reached, the connection continues at the reduced speed shown in the table until your next monthly renewal, at which point full speed is restored. There is no extra charge and no disconnection.
3. What counts as normal use
Streaming an HD film uses roughly 3 GB per hour and a 4K film roughly 7 GB per hour. Video calls use under 2 GB per hour. Reaching a 7 TB allowance would take more than 1,000 hours of 4K streaming in a single month, so ordinary streaming, gaming, remote work and browsing will not trigger the policy.
4. Checking your usage
Your current month's usage and speed tier are shown on the client portal dashboard at pamojafiber.phpradius.com. If you believe your speed has been reduced in error, contact support at any time and we will check the line.
5. Short-term recharges and business plans
Daily and weekly 10 Mbps recharges for installed customers are subject to the same principle of reasonable use. Business plans have allowances agreed in the service order.
6. Changes to this policy
Allowances may be revised as network capacity grows. Changes are published on this page and apply from the next billing month.
